Is there a cost to nominate your own company?
No

When is the deadline?
The earlier your nomination reach us the greater the chances are of it being shortlisted for the final:
Week 1 group deadline: Tuesday 1st April 2008, 6pm
Week 2 group deadline: Tuesday 8th April 2008, 6pm
Week 3 group deadline: Tuesday 15th April 2008, 6pm
Week 4 group deadline: Tuesday 22nd April 2008, 6pm

Can I withdraw a nomination I have done?
If your company isn’t shortlisted it will be removed automatically. If your company is shortlisted you have the opportunity to decline further participation.

How do you pick the winner?
Step 1. First Tuesday pre-scans all incoming nominations. If all fields are completed and the entry requirements are met the nominations are forwarded to the Review Board.
Step 2. The Review Board reviews all nominations, asks for more information if required. They will shortlist 10 companies each week and notify them accordingly. In total 40 companies will be shortlisted.
Step 3. The Review Board will revise their initial list of 40 down to 10 after the last deadline.
Step 4. The Review Board will present the 10 best nominations to the Jury.
Step 5. The Jury will pick 3 finalists to present on stage.
Step 6. After each finalist has presented, the Jury will make its final decision and the winner will be announced on stage immediately after the last presentation and a short discussion.

What are the entry requirements?
1. The company must have its registered office in the UK.
2. The company business activity can not be related to illegal or potentially offensive activities.
3. The company’s main source of revenue must be directly related to an internet technology.
4. The company must be privately held.
5. If put forward as a finalist, a member of the company’s senior management must be able to join us on the Final, 30th April 2008 1-3pm, for a presentation in front of a live audience.
6. Provide the information asked for in the Nominations Application and if required to be able to verify statements.

When is the final held?
Wednesday 30th April 3pm, Keynote Theatre, Internet World, Earls Court London.

How do I get tickets to see the final?
There are no tickets, but seats allocated on a first come first serve basis to guests attending the Internet World. Maximum capacity 200 people.

How do I get tickets?
Everyone that in one way or the other interacts with the First Tuesday Award leading up to the final will be invited to attend the official Networking After Party. There are several ways to interact:
1. Nominate your company (assuming you meet the criteria)
2. Nominate someone else’s company
3. Tell a friend about The First Tuesday Award
4. Register for our newsletter
5. Sign up for matchmaking – if you are looking for venture capital for a technology business or looking to invest in technology companies
